Having issues after years with them. Not getting them resolved so changing insurance companies.

Have to give them one star in order to post this review. I have been with them for three years, today I get a notice that my policy will not be renewed due to have missing shingles. Well Im not missing shingles I have a few tabs missing, strangely enough they have been missing long before I purchased the home. So why would Matthew McCarter insurer my home initially and now decide after three years they no longer will insure due to a few tabs missing? If your in the market for insurance I encourage you to keep looking because Matthew mcCarter has poor customer service and will refuse to renew insurance in the middle of winter because of shingles Have tabs missing. Even though theyve been missing since day one.

I have been working with them for years until now. I spoke with Matt on the phone. I tried to tell him that I wanted to place a claim for my home. And right away, he is telling me about scams and that I they may not do anything, and he started yelling at me because I told him that I just wanted to put in my claim. He was rude and nasty over the phone, questioning me about the damage as if I werent telling him the truth. He wasnt even listening to me. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to. He replied yelling Well I OWN This place!!! I explained to him that I pay a lot of money every year, the least he could do is send someone out. I told him, let them make the decision. I never felt so disappointed in my life. This man shouldnt run a business if he cant even speak professionally to customers. I am sad to say that we will be looking for another carrier.
