I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home. We were problems from day 1 - our mother passed away out of state, she wanted just a small (or no) service at the gravesite and her pastor was on vacation, and we had a terrible time getting the facility where she died to issue a correct death certificate. Jill Kroos and her staff were there to help to provide support, put together a beautiful service, and resolve all our issues - and stayed with us long after the funeral to help us navigate areas we knew nothing about and make sure everything was finalized correctly.

I'd like to thank the younger gentleman who was opening the door for my families viewing on Tuesday. We shared a brief conversation about click and having a fast forward button for the ceremony. It was a brief conversation where I felt understood during a time where little made sense and I needed that. He was personable and easy to relate too and in your bussiness I know that's important. Ur services were fantastic and everyone was truly amazing but this gentleman stood out and I wanted to thank him for it I hope ur families services were as comforting as mine.thabk u for the small moment of joy u gave me during such a somber event.

The loss of a loved one is a traumatic experience. As much as you prepare yourself for the eventuality of death, you are still never fully prepared. The staff members were extremely understanding and compassionate. All of our questions were answered. They provided us with information on things that needed to be attended to that we would never have considered or thought about. When notified of my husband's passing, they responded immediately and helped us through the necessary tasks. Our director was professional, patient and caring. Each contact we had with a staff member was a satisfying experience.

Grateful and truly blessed has my family been for decades by entrusting "ONLY:  Charles F. Synder Funeral home and Crematory with our loved ones final homegoing services.  The loss of a family member is the most vulnerable and heartbreaking time we all must go through. It's a wound that never totally heals yet we just learn how to carry it a little lighter each day.The trust, respect and outstanding service their teams provide is unparallel to any others. Over 30 years Snyder funeral home have served Lancaster County not just service, but I personally consider them family. I have attended over 40 funerals for my loved ones, and Snyder is always there.Last month my mother suddenly passed, and the pain was so unreal that it felt, as if my heart was being pulled out of chest, I knew God would carry but Snyder would support me, just like they have done in the past.I had the privilege to work with Chad Snyder Elite team located at 414 East King Street to provide a 3-day funeral service for my mother. The attention to detail provided, reduced my stress and soothed my heart, Candice Riely my Lord thank you doesn't touch the level of gratitude my heart has for you. You want above and beyond the call to aide, support and love on my family that I consider you an earthly Angel When I couldn't speak you knew what I needed through a simple look into my face.
