Amazing stay at the Hotel Fauchere! I was in town to visit a dear friend, and the Hotel Fauchere made my visit! You are in the middle of charming Milford, and everything you could need is within walking distance. Comfortable rooms, charming features. I stayed in Premium Room#4, with a balcony. It was wonderful to sit outside and watch the stars, charming courtyard and relax. Loved the spacious bathroom and shower for two! Iced water in the foyer was so refreshing! Breakfast in the Delmonico Room was fab, with eggs or quiche, fresh fruit, little croissants and pastries, sausage and bacon, fresh delicious coffee and juices, fantastic granola with fresh milk. A great start to my day. I had two dinners with friends at Bar Louis, and everything was so delicious! We loved the Duck L'Orange, Steak and Egg, Jambalaya, and burgers! Huge shout out to Miss Deena, who made my stay! Thank you SO much for everything, Miss Deena! I will be back very soon! XO

Sat afternoon was kinda rushed off the deck...2nd negative experience I had there. First was the really awful Thanksgiving $45 dinner that probably was cooked the day before. I have been going there for years. Anyone who has been there knows it's the priciest place around. Staff is also courteous..but ,$200 for 3 ppl and a 1 yr old for brunch? Would have been fine If not for bums rush .....once again brought my realtor there for brunch early Feb. We were the only ones upstairs. We ordered two eggs Benedict, they came out cold...waitress ask me if I would like another Martini. I said maybe.. she brought one anyway and at 16 dollars a piece! Has another reservation for a friend's bday... canceled it. Don't know what's happening .. shame.

Understated elegance and grace describe this historic Country Chateau.. Two exceptional dining rooms and the culinary skills of a new lead chef.. Located in the center of Milford Pennsylvania it is the perfect weekend escape. Charming Historic Theatre..delightful Cafes..Interesting Shoppes.. Hiking trails and so much more.

Very nice Inn. Our room was a bit on the cold side but it's an old building and it was eight degrees out the night of our stay. It was very cozy, well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. The rain shower head in the bath was a nice touch as well as the Nespresso coffee maker in the closet. Staff was friendly. We are downstairs at Bar Louis. Our Bartender Bob was lovely to chat with and made great drinks. The food was ok. The cheese charcuterie board was tasty but they used American prosciutto and it was inedible. The burgers were fine, but overall expensive for no real reason. There was a breakfast included in the morning and it was nice. The juices didn't taste real, but the coffee was hot and they had a nice selection of eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, croissants and other pastries as well as yogurt and fruit. The dining area where we ate in was very pretty. They only had one person at the front desk who seemed to be doing things in the dining room and kitchen as well. A call downstairs to ask a question took about a half an hour to get picked up and checking out took a while before we flagged her down in the dining room. I'm not really blaming her though. It seemed she was being asked to bus tables besides handling things at the front desk. Overall, we had a very nice stay and hope to return again someday. Rooms: Well appointed and comfy bed Walkability: Right in the middle of town

It's disappointing to hear you felt rushed during your recent meal with us. It's not our intention to make our guests feel less than welcome. We do want to ensure our seating is paced with the kitchen to ensure the best service for all guests. Timing is sometimes less predictable but we do our very best. All of our menus are seasonal and freshly prepared using local ingredients as much as we can.
