If zero stars were an option, I'd choose that. I currently own 12 pieces of ECCB furniture (10 Adirondack chairs, 2 side tables). ALL previously came with free shipping. I've recommended their products to several family members & friends. Was always a big supporter of their products, until 2/24/23. 2/23/23 - I started a web chat asking what collections qualify for free shipping. I was told by the customer service member the Outer Banks Collection. So my search began. It took a couple hours working with their customer service team to select a table and chair set for my family. At the end of that day, I even wrote on the chat response how pleased I was with their customer service team member. I thanked them for being patience while working with me to select everything, grouping table and chairs isn't straight forward through the website that's why it took so long. 2/24/23: CRS E.D. 9:41am: Thank you for your order! Please review the attached order & freight quote confirmation. Freight Shipping w/ a Liftgate - $638.00 + $50.00 (items are lowered to the ground for you to unload from there). Me: I asked specifically "What collections have free shipping" yesterday through your chat service. I was told the Outer Banks Collection, which all of the items I selected fall under. I need to speak with someone else. CSR E.D.: My apologies, I got confused if you were asking about just the Outer Banks Adirondack Chairs at the time. I should have been more specific about what in the Outer Banks collection has free shipping, that is my mistake. Me: Are you telling me the chairs would still ship free, but a table is going to cost $638 to ship? CSR R.U.: Thank you for reaching out to us. My name is Rxxxx, and I work with Exxxx in ECCB OUTDOOR. We would first like to apologize for any confusion and inconvenience for the miscommunication about the pricing for your order. From what I can see there was some miscommunication in clarity about Free Shipping Collections. Emily is our newest team member and is working through learning our items. Where I believe the miscommunication lies was in the chat whenever asked What collections have free shipping? Simple mistake for someone new. Exxx'xx response for the Outer Banks collection was half correct, however we did not factor in that you were speaking of custom items versus our Outer Banks Deluxe folding ADK Chairs At this time, we would still have to move forward with the quoted shipping for LTL. Both the Outer Banks Barstools and Picket table, the shipping would be $683.00. We do not have any control over the cost of shipping prices. The cost for your shipping is driven up by these two factors ( Oversized 7 Foot table/ and Location down South). However, if broken down by item, you would be paying roughly about $137.00 per item. Me: I'd be willing to pay $200 towards the shipping, don't need the lift gate. I need to speak with someone else. I get a voicemail from another CSR, claiming to be the manager. I email the thread. Please have Cxxxxx respond to this email chain. 2:06 pm - ECCB The status of your order #43744 has changed to "Cancelled". Furniture is quality, but Customer Service needs improvement.

Ive placed two orders with ECCB Outdoor, my first order was in May 2020; 2 Harbor Collection Bar Stool with Arms & 1 Harbor Collection Poly Lumber Round Outdoor Bar Height Table with Picket Fence Base, the second order in June 2020; 2 Harbor Collection Backless Bar Stool, and I am extremely pleased! We bought the furniture for our 6th floor condo balcony, wanted durability and furniture we didnt have to tie to the railing so didnt blow down in the everyday coastal breeze, this balcony furniture achieves that goal. ECCB Outdoor pricing is fair and reasonably, the quality of the poly lumber, the construction and finish work of my furniture is fantastic, the best Ive seen, and I shopped for over a year. The only suggestion I have is when purchasing from ECCB Outdoor, do a little online homework on LTL shipping rates, as shipping is not included in the price of the furniture. My first order ECCB Outdoor quoted LTL rates was $370 after doing my homework and emailing back and forth my final rate was $265. On my second order the initial LTL rate quoted was $295 (yes, a smaller order) again after doing my homework and few emails back and forth my final rate was $102. The rep claimed; We do not make money on shipping. I shop all quotes around to get the best price possible but Im not convinced. All that being said; I would purchase from ECCB Outdoor again in a heartbeat! I would highly recommend their product(s) to a friend. In fact, I already have recommended ECCB Outdoor to two of my co-workers. Thank you ECCB Outdoor, we love our new balcony furniture!
