We visited on a Tuesday evening. The bar and dining area was a little busy, but we were seated right away. The food was delicious, but the ticket time was a bit slow. Four of us ordered the smash burgers. It was worth the wait. The atmosphere is cozy- eclectic. I recommend.

Wife & I visited for the first time after being at the nursery next door. Bartender was very nice and friendly, food was good - thank goodness there were options for sides other than french fries. I had fish taco and wife had crab cake sandwich. Both meals were good and had large portions. Good selection of beers on tap. Wine menu was limited to Barefoot Cellars. Could do with a proper wine list. The restaurant has recently changed hands, so hopefully improvements are on the way. Will definitely revisit. 3/30/24: Went for lunch after browsing plants, shrubs, etc. at Ashcombe Gardens nursery. Place wasn't too crowded and we ate at the bar. I had the Kansas City Brisket Sandwich and my wife had the Reuben both with chips. Again, both sandwiches were tasty and there were plenty of potato chips. I had a couple of First State Square IPAs and my wife mixed her beers and had a Hermauer Hell Lager followed by a Broken Trails Crisp Lager. Overall, good food & beer and a comfortable atmosphere on an overcast day. I'm Kid-friendliness: Lots of families dining in, so very kid-friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

Nice place, friendly server. I think they might be understaffed. There was a large party beside our party of 8. The large party was against the wall. Despite having the rest of the dining area to work with, our table was placed right next to theirs, about a foot and a half from back to back. Leaving at least 10 ft of open corner space on the other side of our group. We figured our table was moved out possible overflow for the other party. Since it was just our two groups in the dining area, we mentioned moving the table further from the other group to give everyone more space. The waitress said we could, but warned the table was very heavy. We opted not to move it because it shouldnt be our job. And didnt want to risk injury. However, the possible settlement injury lawsuit was tempting. The service was slow, but it was just one waitress taking care of easily 30 customers between the two groups. She was nice and cheery, despite being overwhelmed and busy. Food was good, only needed two to go containers. Location is out of the way, but not too far of a drive. Portions were nice and everyone went home full.
