I made an appointment for an inspection for this morning at 7:30 and told the person on the phone I would wait for it, I Showed up at 7:29 waited for the door to be unlocked walked in to be told I was not in their system. I could reschedule for another time or date. Let's see you lost my first so let me waste my time with you again, Nah.

I August of 2020 I purchased tires from Midas in Mechanicsburg. I do not drive a lot as I work from home. Recently I noticed my tires were wearing very quickly. I have put on 19,000 miles. The tires are to have a life span of at least 55,000 miles. I took my car to the Midas location for a warranty claim to be made on the tires. At that time, the manager told me that he refused to work on my car because they no longer carried my tires and that the car had a body kit on it. I made an appointment at Lexus and took the car there for a tire warranty inspection. During the inspection, the mechanic and Michelin discovered that Midas had installed the wrong tires on my car. Michelin very kindly offered to reimburse me a portion of the replacement costs and suggested I reach out to Midas for the remaining balance since they installed the wrong tires. I have spent the last month being pushed from one department to another to resolve this issue. Corporate has told me that the store owner is just a franchise owner and that they cannot make him reimburse me. The store owner will not contact me. Instead, he had the store manager reach out and offer a partial reimbursement. I think it is important for consumers to know that Midas is not only installing the incorrect product but that they are also not resolving their errors. This could have been a major safety issue and both corporate and the store owner seem to not care. Service: Tires
