        Stopped by but they were closed. Would be nice if it was posted on the website so we dont have to waste our time. Weather is not that bad, no reason to be closed when all roads are clear.

        Service not very customer friendly. Finally got what I wanted but did not feel I was dealt with properly or treated with much respect. They did what was right in the end - begrudgingly.

        At first sight this is an appealing showroom, aerated with plenty of space to browse. The problems arose when we wanted more detail, like samples of finishes, handles, glass etc. The biggest disappointment was that we were not able to get an accurate quote for weeks. The salesperson did not know how to use the Marvin software so we kept receiving quotes with custom sizes that brought the price up for no reason. All we wanted was a standard configuration. Other firms proved to be more knowledgeable, prompt, and less pricey.

      Dear Liudmila,We appreciate your plans to shop with us. However, out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our sales staff, we (preemptively) decided on Friday afternoon to close our showroom on Saturday since the height of the storm was supposed to occur during our opening hours and we did not want to jeopardize the safety of our employees. We DID post notice of our closure in a very clear pop-up message on our website, listed our closure on all our social media, and we also posted signs on our doors with our apologies. While the storm was less hazardous than anticipated, we had no way of knowing in advance. When it comes to the safety of our employees and customers, we think we followed the correct procedure.       Dear Charles,We're really at a loss on how to respond to your posting. We believe we were very transparent about the anticipated delivery of your special-order product. As we explained, lead times have been significantly lengthened due to supply-chain issues, so we are very upfront about estimated production times. The 17-week lead time you were quoted —was not only clearly listed on your receipt -- but we also specifically highlighted it on your purchase order— and then we had you initial next to the 17-week notification on the order confirmation so there would be no misunderstanding. Your order was placed on 7/25/22 and 17 weeks would estimate delivery to us the week of 11/21/22. We are sorry for your frustration with the wait time, but we are not really sure how much more we could have done to prepare you for the reality of a 17-week turnaround on a special-order product.Respectfully,the Sales Team at Tague Lumber
