I booked a visit for a checkup/routine cleaning a month ago. I received a confirmation the Friday before my appointment (which was at 11am also received a confirmation business card with my time at 11.) I arrived to their office accordingly only to be told that my appointment was accidentally booked at noon the receptionist apologized I understood and was willing to rebook my appointment only to be rudely interrupted by her saying I couldnt do any visits (checkup and next day cleaning ) because that morning the dentist told her he wasnt willing to see me without ability to do the X-ray before my cleaning. I had explained to her that prior Friday during the confirmation call that I was pregnant i had asked her whether I had to move my appointments and/or cancel she confidently said it wouldnt be an issue.
Regardless I totally understand mistakes and misunderstandings.
This lady was purely unprofessional she called me out of my name for asking what time they opened and why I didnt receive a call that morning before my appointment. While being composed even after the unessecary arrogance I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me she was her own boss.
Following her statement She rudely told me that I could go yell at someone else because she wasnt going to help me.. keeping my composure I took my medical history papers and asked her to toss them for me because I would go seek care elsewhere. Walking out she yelled after me (in front of someone in the waiting area) that I was crazy.
I feel humiliated, my time was wasted. I dont even mind being treated the way I was I just do not want anyone else to go through what I had to.
