Over spray all over the house. Mouldings litterly falling off wall. Got locked out 2 times. Poor workman's ship putting in the locks. Shutters only on one side of the house. Appliances missing. No dish washer, sink leaks. No handicap handles in the showers & tubs.

Where do I begin? Moved in March 2022... Customer Service? Fine at first, but if you have too many problems with the home they built you, you're on your own. The person who initially took our info and issues down left the company and we waited almost 2 months before we called and found that out, no follow through on communication or issues.... Michael Axmacher was our POC for 90% of our journey. His lack luster customer service and arrogant approach is the reason for this review. At one point I was told $500 compensation for 3 cabinets and a crooked wall was all the compensation we could be offered. That was the cost for his 2 guys to drive from PA to Maine for 2 days worth of work ( all expenses included ).... Those guys making minimum wage? Hotels are free? Food? Man... what an insult. - Crooked wall in bathroom ( shower door would never close, leaked everywhere ) shower door replaced several times/adjusted before this was realized. It was considered FIXED several times, lots of silicone oozing out all over - Propane furnace exhaust pipe had slice, leaking condensation and carbon monoxide into our home, furnace was replaced due to rust from condensation. Had to call local guys to come out and re connect the propane because the factory techs that connected it did not test, had a propane leak. In Maine a HVAC LICENSED CONTRACTOR ONLY should be doing installs, they did not care and sent their factory workers up to do the work. Called local code enforcement for information... Skyline argued and did not care what Maines requirements were. -Failing circuit breakers ( got some lame excuse so they did not have to come and replace them, $50 each to buy on our own, current law suit against Siemens for this issue, they fail to acknowledge ) 2 were replaced, then our warranty expired and got a BS line about why they keep tripping ( 7-10 times per day ) - Mislabeled circuit breaker panel led to outside outlets not being able to be used for the first 8 months of living in our home - Both entrance doors needed to be replaced the day we purchased the home, the crew they sent to replace them did a horrible job, spray foam everywhere on one door ( and on siding ) the other door was never even sealed once completed ( could see daylight between door frame and house framing after they were done ) I had to remove door trim, spray foam, refinish trim and put back on. ( spent 3 hrs picking up nails and screws in my driveway from these contractors, Jeff Shock is who was used in Maine for the entrance doors and 1 shower door replacement ) - Plumbing was not properly installed/tightened under sinks. Both bathroom vanity, kitchen sink cabinet were replaced due to water damage. - Shower drain leaked for months before we figured out what was going on. ( was only hand tight ) Corroded the duct work. - Upper kitchen cabinet replaced due to cracking - Floor Squeaks EVERYWHERE ( some fixed ) - The heating system was missing a 15 ft section of duct work causing in-efficient heating in the house from day one. It was on the plans but never installed at the factory or onsite. - Last night ( 7/16/2023 ) I discovered the bathroom sink drain ( they were the last to touch as they replaced the cabinet/vanity ) was not tight... the fitting is not the right size and is literally sitting in the pipe. Had sewer ish gas smell coming from that. No worries, I put my emergency plumber hat on and fixed it. Several neighbors on our street have had similar issues as we've had above... one had a bunch of roof issues ( nails showing, i've found some on mine as well ) same electrical issues we are having... Skyline refuses to acknowledge any issues with other homes and insists our circuit breaker problems are our own to resolve ( total cost to replace the faulty/defective breakers would be about $700 plus the cost of an electrician ). The circuit breaker issue is the current issue they said is not their problem. I would really appreciate a rep from Skyline Homes ( Not Michael Axmacher ) to reach out to us to try and resolve these issues.
