The grounds and apartment are great. The BIG issue would be you hear everything that goes on with your neighbors. You know it's a problem when you need noise reducing earbuds for sleeping and headphones for living your everyday life. When you ask that something be said about the yelling, screaming and crashing the response you get is, I don't think you'd be happy living anywhere. . Be sure to tour during the hours people are home!

I was a tenant for a full year, here are the good and bad about Market Square/Wolf & Kline. There are some good things to talk about but the bad really over-shadows everything. The Good: Apartments are "newer" looking than a lot of others in the area. There is tons of parking, none of it assigned but I never had issues parking close to my unit. Apartments seem to be decently insulated, no issues keeping the unit cold/warm. Personally, I had zero issues with W&K themselves, application was smooth and exit was smooth. Pets allowed at a reasonable rate as well and they return the pet deposit which is a bonus. Okay, lets get to the more negative side of things. The single biggest negative thing I can point out is the ZERO checking of dog breeds they allow. They state no aggressive breeds and no dogs over 25lbs but if you spend one day hanging around the area and you will see multiple pit-bulls, Rottweilers, and other large breeds being walked. On the subject of dogs, the other reviewer is correct in that NO ONE PICKS UP AFTER THEIR DOGS. Droppings all over the place, especially in the back area next to the large farm-land. W&K will send out notices but nothing is ever done to solve this issue. Do not be fooled by W&K's jargon over the "amenities" Market Square offers. "Scenic walking trail" is a joke, its a tiny little path behind the houses south of Market Square and its 1/5 of a mile long. Walls are paper thin despite being somewhat new construction. you will hear your neighbors doing all kinds of "activities". Again, do not listen to W&K stating "Noise-reducing Construction". One very annoying thing we dealt with in the apartment, and this is confirmed by W&K themselves, is that the bathroom fans run 24/7. I assume this is the curb mold/a wet bathroom but you will be paying for those fans to run. The overall atmosphere is just kind of bleak at Market Square as well, each time you enter and exit you are reminded that you cannot afford the half million dollar custom homes flanking the complex. W&K are kind of buzzkill on outside decorations too. I never got the sense that W&K really cared about me as a tenant. Updated review to 1 star: I keep getting billed for "Water overuse" after having been moved out for months now. Not sure how I can get "water over usage" WHEN I DIDNT LIVE THERE. the fee was small but doesn't make sense. Avoid this place entirely!

Personally, I had a good experience living here and had minimal issues with the apartment itself and management company. Apartment wise, it was a very nice apartment and I didnt have many issues with it (which is good because it is a newly built apartment so Id hope there wouldnt have been issues). The layout of the apartments are nice and spacious. The appliances were all nice and new which I appreciated and were functional. Management company wise, I rarely had any issues. They actually were super friendly to me and notified me once of an accidental duplicate payment that was made one month and returned the amount promptly. They also helped me after I moved out as Xfinity was a royal pain in the butt and was trying to charge me for not returning the equipment when its pre-installed in the apartment and supposed to remain there. I worked with Susan Fickes at Wolf and Kline a lot and she was very helpful every time. And overall they do maintain the complex well with regular lawn care, snow prevention/removal, powerwashing in the spring, etc. The only issues/nuisances I found were 1) we would get reminder emails about picking up after pets when in reality I noticed it was people from the neighboring homes that wouldnt pickup after their pets and 2) the management company was a bit strict on items outside such as allowing Christmas lights but not allowing summer string lights. Overall though I would personally recommend Market Square Apartments!
