Mahoning Inn

Booked a night with my five year old. Read the reviews on here and thought ok cool. Lady called me to see if I wanted to check in early and I said sure. She said twenty dollars extra, I again said sure maybe they are busy. Next day for here we were almost the only people there so the extra 20 was a bunch of bologna but whatever. Loud street number one. Not a great location at all across from a gas station. The mountain view they are talking about is not really what you would think. Got to the room and the room smelled so bad of stale cigarettes and old carpet! The furniture was falling apart and it was the size of a box. I stay in this area all the time and they have the audacity to charge 100 for that ! It should be 40 a night minimum for that kind of dirty truck stop place. The desk person was nice. Extremely clean rooms, 1950s mid-mod pink tile bathrooms, kind and helpful staff. This place is excellent for the price.

Super clean and quiet. There is a great mountain view out back. There was no foot traffic or locals milling around. The restaurant next door was awesome. We went for dinner and breakfast. Safety: No people living here or locals walking around anywhere near the hotel.

Just had a three-night stay at the Mahoning Inn great value excellent service squeaky clean rooms try it you'll like it

Nice clean inexpensive hotel. Very friendly staff. Will be back. Don't eat at the Beacon Diner it's terrible
