The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center

All Massimo Duttti new donations at this store are priced at 50% off retail price - with many prices over $100 on purple tags nonetheless which means no discounts on these items! Meanwhile at other locations prices are much, much lower on these exact same batch of donations. What??? Why the price gouging, Salvation Army Latrobe???? I hope you like looking at this inventory! Does your regional office approve of this? I was told by one salvation army manager at another location that pricing was supposed to be more uniform. Meanwhile I can get some pieces at $1 while Latrobe looks at their inventory of $100+ items! So ridiculous! Avoid this location. They are delirious.

The people there are very slow and not professional looking. They also do not have a working phone number. The one online they provide does not work. They said they hold my couch until Wednesday but I paid for it. ITs Salvation Army not Walmart. I hope by the time I get there itll be there still. Receipt in hand so Ill press charges if anything. The said about 5 days holing it when its been there a month. Now someone buys it they get shady. I would strongly recommend against this place

came here for years & would even donate here, but for now on im taking my business else where because this store has thee rudest front desk workers & always be rushing people out. i try to be respectful of the time closing at 6pm but tonight was my final straw. it wasnt even 5:40pm & i was about to check out & head on out until i realized i have lost a cell phone in the store. as im ringing out, i mentioned something to the 3 ladies at the front desk & they did not care but only kept mentioning to me how they close at 6pm & were more worried about closing out their extra registers. they didnt even offer to help or call my phone until they could see i was visibly upset about their lack of effort & still needing to rush me out. the one older woman even had the audacity to tell me how if i cant find it then they cant have me running around the store looking for my phone if i cant find it, mind you there was still plenty of time to search & there were even other customers STILL shopping in the store!! eventually i found it & as i was leaving, they even already closed their front gate early nearly causing a crash between me & other cars trying to leave their own parking lot!!! there was still 20 minutes till close, there was still PLENTY of time & this isnt the first time they have had employees rudely rush their customers out. ill be taking my business elsewhere where there are more respectful employee seriously.
