He is now safe and happy in the senior community he never thought he could get into all thanks to their help! Putting a loved one into a memory care unit or nursing home because of dementia is a sad situation for many families. After putting my sister into a facility, it was suggested to us by the executive director to get an elder law attorney. I first thoughtwhy? It was a natural reaction because I was well aware of how complex these situations can be and how hard it can be to find someone in whom you can place your complete confidence. Bryan J. Adler, Esq., CELA (Certified Elder Law Attorney), of the Rothkoff Law Group was thereby recommended to us. Despite my initial hesitation, I was immediately put at ease by Bryan and, during our initial meeting, I was very impressed by both his knowledge of the Elder Law issues and the thoroughness and clarity of his explanations and recommendations. At that point, I felt comfortable with our decision to engage his office to represent my sister during this difficult time. During the entire process of preparing my sisters estate plan as well as the preparation for me being named power of attorney, Bryan and his team kept me informed of all issues and made excellent recommendations with respect to all of the estate planning needs. I am greatly relieved to know that my sisters needs were addressed and I know that she is in a much better financial and legal situation now than before. I have known Bryan for many years and did not hesitate to trust him with my parents' elder care planning. My trust in him and the Rothkoff Law Group was confirmed recently when an urgent issue arose that needed to be addressed quickly. [AUG 2023 update to original post]: It's been over three years and I still think about the abysmal service I received from this firm everyday... Every. Single. Day. I will never forget how Attorney Bryan Adler professed that he would FIGHT for my mother as if she were his own, when truth be told, Bryan Adler never even learned to pronounce her name correctly, much less reach out to introduce himself to her. As stated in my original post, don't be a dumb sucker like I was: IGNORE ANY VERBAL PROMISES made during the initial consultation. Empathy does not exist here...the only leg you have to stand on is what's stipulated in the contract. --- Based on my experience with Attorney Bryan Adler, who I retained to advocate for my mother in March 2020, I would NOT recommend the Rothkoff Law Group to anyone. Bare minimum, if you nevertheless decide to work with this firm, make sure to take extensive notes during the consultation and insist that an itemized list of your advocacy goals for your loved one is added to the contract before you sign. I hope this review saves another family from the stressful conflict and deep dissatisfaction I experienced in dealing with this attorney.

My 92 year old uncle was recently placed in a nursing home I am his power of attorney and had no idea what to do. I contacted Rothkoff Law Group and had a meeting with Mr. Bryan Adler and explained the situation. From the beginning his team advised me in every step. They were both courteous and understanding. The legal process of taking care of a elder person is much more complicated then you can imagine From the very beginning they walked me through the process. Mr Adler and his staff assisted me in every step and I highly recommend them
