Cute place. Food/coffee is decent but the service/staff have been pretty rude each time Ive been here.

ive avoided this place for a few years due to receiving poor service during each visit. i came back on a weekday morning last week with my mom and sister, and our server (who im told us the owner) was incredibly rude to us. she couldnt be bothered to even make eye contact with any of us, and there wasnt so much as a how do you do. she seemed rather annoyed by our presence, and didnt smile once during the entire time i was there (and she was serving all the tables in the restaurant). also, there isnt a wall between the dining area and the service station/kitchen, so its quite obvious when youre complaining about your customers. my sandwich was good, but its pretty hard to mess up a pork roll and cheese and it certainly wasnt worth the treatment my family received. my sister and i both work in the restaurant industry, and were appalled by the treatment we received.

Saw that this place was nominated for best of bucks breakfast spot so I brought my weekly coffee club here, and it did NOT disappoint!!! If I thought choosing one coffee to try from their amazing menu was hard, ( went with the creme brulee!!) that was nothing compared to narrowing down what to try from the food menu!! GO HUNGRY!!!! Everything sounded amazing, and they had a specials board!!! I couldn't decide between sweet or savory, so I went with the maple bacon breakfast bowl (encourage you to try this) and loved every bite, with enough going home with me for lunch lol!! One friend got the pancakes topped with gorgeous and fresh strawberries and regular coffee, the other got the morning glory sandwich and a thin mint latte. Both of their meals looked amazing! The place was hopping and we got the last available table, but turnover is pretty quick and service is fast!! Everyone was friendly, including the patrons who said hello and good morning to me as they were leaving! We got there at 10 when it was busy but leaving around 1145 there were plenty of places to sit, so experiment with time. Looks like there is outdoor seating for nice weather. In addition to street parking they also have a lot!!! Check this place out for dine in or take out, you will not be disappointed!

I'm writing this on behalf of a friend, and after going through the reviews, I can understand why. Plus, I have a great following, and my reviews typically go viral. According to my friend, here is what happened: She got there at around 11:02 a.m., Jan 15, 2024. Our other friend had already put her name in, so they finally got their table. Shortly afterwards, another Party arrived and was seated close by. The server walked right past them to the other people and took their order and then walked away and spent time talking to other people. So she asked the girl at the register if they are supposed to order at the register, and she told her to go sit down, and the server will come to them, my friend said oh OK! When my friend caught the server's eye, she said, "Hey, whenever you have a chance, can we order?" , and the server said," I know what Im doing. I'll get to you as soon as it's your turn." [ to me that was very rude] They did not feel comfortable staying, and then they started to get up, the server said. "Does it look like Im not working?" [ not nice, and did not need to be said] Our other friend went to pay for their coffee, and the girl at the register said it was OK, and they left. After reading the other reviews and responses from the owner, I think maybe the place is short staffed. I am sure the small businesses have taken a hit with this economy. But hire enough people so they are kinder and less stressed, or hire more mature individuals who understand that their Customers may not have the luxury of spending all day in a coffee shop. I was there one time, and the coffee is good.
