AVOID, this guy doesn't know what he is doing - we are trying to do a HELOC and he is saying our home went DOWN (significantly) in value from it's 2020 appraised value when values have only gone up in the last two years (and no material changes to the property)?? Sadly PSECU is going to lose business because of incompetence.

I am going to echo the other reviewer. I recently had an appraisal recently done of my property that somehow turned a 2220sf house into an 1850sf house. Never mind I built my property and know the exact dimensions, and have previous appraisals confirming this. I think the appraiser just looked up the number in my property tax records and reverse engineered her measures to correspond to that. When I protested (with evidence) I was not able to get a satisfactory response.

Caused us a month of waiting and then cancelled. The delays jeopardized our property closing and cost us 2 months of work to get the property only to fall through on the last step at the last moment.

Strongly recommend AVOIDING this appraisal service at all cost. Lisa Garcia appraised our home and did a horrible job. She appraised our home as a 4 bedroom house when in reality it has 5 full size bedrooms (all of which have a LARGE closet). She got the square footage of the home incorrect, cutting the home 90 square feet short of its actual size. She then selected comps that did not even remotely compare to this one. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this company and give them the opportunity to screw your over. Even after discussing these issues with the company they REFUSED to reappraise the home. Regarding your reply: tell yourself whatever you need to - the fact is an inadequate appraisal was done, and the comps selected were an absolute joke. Clearly an 1800 sqft row home is comparable to a 3000+ sqft single family home. I can assure you none of my family or friends will be using your service and Ive also informed my personal realtor as well as several of my realtor friends. Hopefully this will save someone else the cost of a second appraisal. FOR REFERENCE: She appraised our home as being WORTH LESS NOW than in 2007 following the collapse of the housing market. It must be the only house in the county thats gone down in value over the last 15 years.
