Slatehouse Group/Home365 are crooked, and I would advise anyone to stay away from them. I have never had my security deposit withheld in my many years of renting. They withheld my entire security deposit for property damage to the paint. The townhome was cleaned out thoroughly, carpets were cleaned, holes in walls were patched, and the townhome was in pristine condition!!! Katelyn Piech, the field manager, came and did a walkthrough, and she said, the townhome looks good; you dont have to do anything else to it. I even asked her again are you sure we dont have to paint, and she said, NO. Btw- I patched up any holes, and the walls had normal wear. Withholding my entire security deposit is absurd and should be investigated. I also believe that they were overcharging for water/sewer. I kept seeing double charges throughout my time renting and would someikes catch it and message them to have the double bill removed. These people are money hungry and do not care about you as a tenant. Slatehouse Group/Home365 assume tenants will not fight and take advantage of them because they are a big corporation. I am taking this straight to civil courts because I have video recordings of everything. I have attached some photos for your viewing. I will not attach all my pictures and videos, but just know I have my proof.

They used to be great! Now they remind you of a relative that ignores you and only shows up for money. Hell no! I would not recommend them. Steer clear and go with someone else. I just fell thru my rental porch and cut my foot!

I don't even know where to start but just to let you know there's no way you'll be able to communicate with these people, no phone calls at all; everything is by live chats and emails. Slate House Group if you decided to be a company to be away from phone calls at least when live agents send emails and chat with the customer, provide your agents with accurate information. WHICH PERSON I TALKED TO HAD A DIFFERENT COMMENT, WHAT A COMPANY!!

I don't know what is happening with this company. As others have said, they used to do a good job. In fact, 5 years ago when I was introduced to them (I'm a Realtor) by a mutual client, they were top-notch. Over the years their service has slipped, as has been the experience of some of my clients and confirmed by numerous other property owners in chats at the settlement table. The experience of one of my clients in recent months is inexcusable. Nearly impossible to get a response from his property manager - tenant moves out and he isn't notified, only to learn that a water leak that was reported months ago has remained unrepaired and now there are damaged ceilings to repair. As has been noted in another review, since the changeover to Home365, service has deteriorated significantly. Is it growing pains? I don't know, but hopefully they get it figured out soon, as what is presently taking place is not good.
