All of my grandkids went here when Mrs. D was the director, and during that time, it was absolutely wonderful. Sadly, most of the original teachers and Mrs. D are now gone, and it's just not the same.

I’ve been upset lately about what’s going on at the St. Peter’s preschool, and I was so glad to see that I’m not alone in being unhappy with the new director and staff. I know a handful of other parents who I play Bunco with who have expressed the same views and are looking into switching schools. It’s so upsetting to have to be doing this in the middle of the year, but we just worry so much about our daughter, and we cannot tolerate the issues currently occurring at the church and school.

I’m absolutely disheartened to have to write this review. Our oldest son went to the preschool and graduated just prior to the pandemic. We were so excited for our youngest to enroll at St. Peter’s Preschool for the next two years. When we found out there was a new director, we were hopeful things would be as wonderful as they were pre-pandemic, but we were amazed how much things had changed. Mrs. D, the previous director, was so sweet. We always enjoyed chatting with her in the hallways. The new director is the exact opposite. She’s mean, never engages with the students, very poor with management of the school, attacks parents when they try to ask a question or have any concerns about anything. This is not the same St. Peter’s. Thankfully, we moved on and found a much better and safer environment for our children.

We joined St. Peter's in 2012 after moving to Lancaster from New Jersey. At first, we loved the sense of community, and the people were great. We enrolled our children in the preschool from 2016 to 2021, and we recently pulled them out of the school as we were disgusted by the mannerisms of the new preschool director and how she treated people. It was a great school, but there is a dark cloud hanging over it now, and while we typically don't leave reviews, we felt moved to guide others in making the decision to enroll their children in a school that won't endanger their children or create a negative environment such as the one that currently exists at St. Peter's. This carried over to the church as a whole, and there was a dark cloud over the entire church, especially the disorganized preschool staff and the shadiness going on. We would frequently see random boy and girl college kids whom we were never made aware of or notified about in any way (maybe 18-20 years old) from Millersville in the classrooms holding the children. There was no mention anyone other than the teachers would be in the rooms, but due to lack of support and poor staffing choices, the director brought in untrained, unskilled students without parents' consent. We saw pictures of these kids touching the children, walking them through the halls, and just being in positions to do who knows what. We we approached the director and we brought this up, we were attacked by her and she lashed out as though offended and was not willing to listen. Then when we reported it to the church leadership, they attacked us as well. It's a very awful and unsafe environment, and we feared something may happen to our children if we left them there. We made the wise choice to leave both the church and the preschool, and we are now much happier.
