I worked here for almost 3 years and today they ended up firing me for talking and that is because a girl that was my supervisor at the time always wrote me up for talking when everybody else was talking, but its not OK when I do it

PROS: 1. The store is always very clean (even on busy sale days). 2. The atmosphere is nice (music is repetitive, but the customer base is friendly, things are ordered well, and their causes are noble). 3. Nicholas (one of the cashiers) is the embodiment of customer service - patient, kind, joyous, well-mannered, gracious, and keen to serve. His faith shines through his character, he's always eager to lend a listening ear, and quick to find solutions to issues other customers have. He's also an eloquent speaker! I would hire him at my store in a heartbeat, and I will donate to their cause any time he asks. CONS: 1. The prices at the high-end wall and in Mens are getting steep, which I see others agreeing too. As a +size man who needs certain cuts of clothes to fit, it can get expensive finding work clothes within my budget. 2. Some of the staff are kinda rude or easily distracted. There are some young women who will stand around with clothes in hand and be gossiping instead of working, and there is a really really tall man (I think a supervisor of some kind) who I often hear belittling others (staff and customers alike) and demeaning them. 3. There's an air of rushing that can be sensed at times, like their's pressure on the staff to compete for some reason. OVERALL: Love the store, love Nicholas as a customer service guy, and love the faith-based messaging. Concerned about the prices, but think they're mostly fair. Don't appreciate the gossiping or rudeness of the few employees, or the 'corporate' vibe I get.

Echoing similar reviews, the prices here are worse than ebay prices on similar items. Recently, I purchased a copy of Halo CE for the original Xbox, it was behind the counter. I asked the clerk if I could look inside before I buy, not only did he refuse to let me check inside, he LIED and said that the game includes the original game manual and the disc has no scratches. He even referenced the "423" code on the red tag, saying that it's a premium find. Much to my surprise, when I got home not only did the disc have scratches (and smudges), but it did not have the manual in it. This game goes for $10 on ebay...listed here for $12.99 RED tag! I can deal with the price gouging, but being blatantly lied to is crossing the line. As a life time thrifter, and fan of community aid, this really hurt. I've also purchased other blurays from here (which were taped shut) out of respect for the store I didn't open them till I got home, and they were missing discs.
