The staff is friendly and cordial. The practiconer, Lisa, however is not.
It is not appropriate to demean and blame patients for unfortunate circumstances they were coerced into. It is alarming to tell a patient directly that, "they are the reason for a baby dying" when it is their choice to make a decision that they feel is right for them given the circumstances. When confronted, the practitioner tried to deflect the blame onto the patient. It's best to not see this practitioner and it is a red flag to be alone in a room to face verbal abuses and blame for her own beliefs. It is scary to wonder what has been said to a teenager met with severe circumstances outside of her control. Lisa has also been removed from Windber due to the refusal of taking the COVID-19 vaccination and made patients uncomfortable with her anti-vax rhetoric.
Keep personal beliefs outside of your job. It's unprofessional.
