Absolutely adorable bakery, and the food was delicious. My hard-to-please husband was especially happy with his breakfast crepe. Said it had "the correct balance." Drinks were also very good. The very kind lady who helped us was extremely helpful and a lovely conversationalist. We took her recommendation to check out the pickle shop, too. ;) Dietary restrictions: They do offer gluten free crepes, made fresh to order! Someone asked about them while we were there.

We saw Ma's on Home and Backyard today, and they are worth the trip to Jim Thorpe. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The crepes and boba tea were delicious and refreshing. We had a Smores crepe, Nutella crepe and a caramel crepe. One boba tea was made from Oolong, almond milk and peach. The other was black tea, whole milk and strawberry. Would go back again.

First off, you cant wash your hands there before you eat and you certainly are not allowed to go to the bathroom there if you drink too much. If you want a cup of tap water to save the environment from over plastic bottle use, you get charged $2 for a cup of water. If you are unfortunate enough to require gluten free crepes, they charge an extra $4 for about a 1/2 worth of batter that tastes light gelatin. I purchased a Philly cheese crepe and it had tomatoes and lettuce in it which is very much not Philly cheese. It was so goopy with a disgusting cheese too. I had to pay $19 for that. The wait staff was about as rude as you could possibly be.

Hey Kerri! Thanks for the review, the feedback is appreciated! Our commercial space was approved for Food Retail, which is different from Food Restaurant. This is due to size and capacity which doesn't give us the option to provide a restroom for our customers. Our requirement is to provide hand cleansing and sanitation for our customers, which we do up at the front counter. If you'd like to learn more about zoning, I recommend calling the county to have them explain the differences to ya! Also, next time you're in town, the nearest public restrooms are across the street in The Jim Thorpe Museum and down the street at The Tourist Center. We do offer tap water and bottle water. Our tap water and bottle water costs reflect the price of material such at the bottle itself and the cup that we offer.I do agree with you about how unfortunate gluten free options are priced. Currently, organic gluten free crepe ingredients are way more expensive to purchase from suppliers than non-gluten free. Sorry you didn’t like the taste of ‘em! They definitely aren’t as good as the regular crepes but I still think they taste great. I would love to chat about your experience more! Shoot me an email, [email protected], and let’s set up a time to discuss your experience so I can learn how we can further improve ourselves!Tony Martinez
