Had the best time in Jim Thorpe ! Carries place was amazing too, the breakfast setup was something out of a fairytale story ! We loved all of the details ! Her place was quaint & cozy ! Book your B&B with her ! Just a mini walk to the town !

Al & I had the good fortune of booking a room at The Angel of Jim Thorpe for 2 nights in Sept. I had never stayed at a B&B before & was a little apprehensive. We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodations. It was pure heaven after sleeping in the most comfortable bed ever & waking up to the smell of our breakfast being prepared. Carrie was an absolute Angel, giving us information on the area & even offered to drive us down to Jim Thorpe as the town was busy & parking a bit difficult to find. We will definitely be booking with Carrie on our next trip to the area. thank you so much for a memorable weekend. P.S. guess who had to go out & get a comfy foam bed & mattress topper? Gale & Al

I came here to spend the weekend. The b&b itself was beautiful and clean. The proprietor, Carie, was kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We had an amazing time while we were there. However, our reservation was messed up, and we were told that we had to leave on Saturday instead of Sunday as we had intended. Carie insisted that we made the mistake, though I know that isn't true. This really messed up our trip, as we couldn't find any other rooms available in town. Real bummer. If you plan to go here, you're in for a treat. Just make SURE that you get your reservation in writing via email or text. EDIT: Carrie did reach out, and apologized for the miscommunication. In fact, she kindly offered us a free 2 day stay. I think this was really kind of her and would be happy to stay with her again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Angel of Jim Thorpe Bed and Breakfast for our annual vacation, and we loved it. The Victorian dcor of the house was alluring, and although the house looks like a museum, it was warm, welcoming, and inviting. The bedrooms are decorated beautifully. We chose the Angel Suite because of the size of the jacuzzi that was large enough for two people. Even though the bedrooms were close together, we did not hear our neighbors at all. The guests enter the house through a cute patio in the back. And the backyard has four chairs and a fire pit table. We ended our nights sitting by the fire. Carrie is an amazing host. She was accommodating, friendly, and warm. In the mornings, we had breakfast at the house. When we returned from our excursions during the evenings/nights, the fire pit would be lit, and there would be snacks and drinks for the guests in the dining room. When my boyfriend was not feeling well and could not eat certain foods, Carrie made him breakfast. We were so appreciative and grateful for the accommodation. Although we enjoyed our vacation in Jim Thorpe, my boyfriend and I agreed that staying in Angel of Jim Thorpe contributed to our wonderful vacation. We will return and visit Jim Thorp next year, and we will be staying at Angel of Jim Thorpe again. Thank you, Carrie, for your hospitality. Rooms: The rooms were decorated beautifully and were very comfortable. We felt like we were home. Nearby activities: Shopping, dining, white water rating, biking, hiking, Train ride, trolley, museum, Old Jail Musuem, art gallery, and wine tasting in Jim Thorpe Historic District just two minutes away by car. Alvin Off Road ATV is about 30 minutes away by car. #9 Coal Mine and Museum is about 30 minutes away by car. Lost River Cavern is an hour away by car. The Mahoning Drive-in Theatre is 15 minutes away by car. Safety: I felt safe. Walkability: There are eateries nearby. Jim Thorpe Historic District is just two-minutes away by car. Food & drinks: Breakfast in the mornings, and snacks and drinks in the evening. Noteworthy details: Victorian decor. Kitchen and sitting parlor are closed to the guests. Front patio closed to the guest, but the guests have a patio in the back. Backyard has chairs and firepit table for guests. Host is very attentive, accommodating, responsive, and friendly.
