The Jimmy Stewart Museum

Best $12 I've spent in a while. Very friendly staff and lots to see and take in. My father grew up with Jimmy's films and raised me on them too. It was wonderful to see his work come to life. I recommend watching the short documentary in the theater that his daughter narrarated.

Such a wonderful place to visit! Learned so much about Jimmy Stewart, especially his military career, which I didnt know was so extensive. Saw one of his films in the small theater thats part of the museum. Afterwards, we drove by the house where Stewart grew up, just a few blocks from the museum. Overall spent more than four hours there. A great experience.

The Jimmy Stewart Museum is something that is raved about within Indiana County. Ive never known much about who this man was, but after visiting a learned a lot. i enjoyed seeing the awards, white house letters, and posters that were made. With it being located on the side of Philadelphia Street, i felt almost rushed because i didnt want the meter to run out of time. Due to me being there for work, the receptionist let me and my coworker into the museum for free, which was a very generous gesture. The receptionist gave us a small historical rundown as well as telling us where everything was located. the museum itself has a pretty cheap gift shop with cool stuff inside. i wish it was a little more accessible though. Philly Street parking isnt always the best so look forward to walking to the building if needed.
