Muddy Run Tavern

The food was hit or miss, some was great like the buffalo chips but the chicken cheese steak was bland and they mixed up my wife and suns burgers and the service started good but fell off once it got a little busy. I loved the atmosphere tho it was nice. Would probably give them another chance

Well it would've been nice if our server ever came back. We got in at 6, ordered, drinks and app. I wasn't ready to order so she said she would come back.... She never did. Tables around us for served before us and one was sat after us. Never again. Smdh

Had lunch here on a Monday while in town for a campus visit. The restaurant has a rustic atmosphere that blends sports bar, dance club, and Cracker Barrel. The menu has a nice variety of sandwiches. My daughter enjoyed her fried haddock sandwich. My queen, which was called out on the menu as a house specialty, was good but not great. Service was initially good, and our meals came out quickly, but business picked up a bit as we finished, and the lone waiter took a long time to get our check.

This place is hit or miss. My most recent order and experience were a miss. The pulled pork fries were not pulled pork but cubed meat that did not even resemble pork. On top of that, waiting for my meal I was stared down by the owner which made my waiting experience pretty awkward. This very weird interaction made me quite uncomfortable to say the least. On top of this, it seems pretty disgusting to have staff eating while they are behind the bar and too busy eating their food to assist customers. Overall, I would probably never go there again especially if the owner just sits there at the bar, drinks to the point of getting wasted and stares at people weirdly while blatantly talking about them.
