Tussey Landscaping

This was our third project by Tussey Landscaping and, again, a beautiful job! We had our back porch replaced, extended to our patio and included a fire pit area. The crew worked around and included our Bubbling Rocks, which were installed a few years. Derrick created a great design for us that tied in with our previously installed sidewalks and parking pad. Dan, Miles, and the rest of the crew worked so hard to get the patio done by Christmas, and they did! We had a fire in the pit on Christmas Day! Now, just remains some landscaping in the spring! Thanks, guys! Well done! We love it!

I have witnessed 8 + projects from Tussey 2 with personal involvement. Their hardscape skills are very good. With that said they are Extremely Expensive !!! Tussey softscape skills are less than desirable for the prices they charge. When one observes their softscape work 1-3 years after . Very disappointing !! As far as working with their estimators and workers . If you let them do Exactly what they want / prices they charge they are ok. The estimator we used 3 times (2 jobs completed) was overly confident, borderline arrogant. The crew that performed work were nice enough until I asked a couple questions edging grass/beds , plant selection/overcrowding and light design. The crew became agitated and seemed to be bothered that I would even question their work. The issues that I had concern with are now very apparent 3 years later. We have replaced lighting , tore out plants and the edging was redone by another company to our satisfaction. Again, very disappointing for prices they charge buyer beware. I would only recommend if price is of no concern and you arent particularly concerned with softscape work. I waited several years to post this review as

This past summer we hired Tussey Landscaping to completely redo our front landscaping. Using their own custom design (which we approved) they tore out all of the front steps leading from our front door to our driveway and replaced it with an absolutely stunning stone paver staircase with beautiful landings. They also replaced the outdated decorative wall between our front door and our garage and installed a mulch bed with plants and included a rock bed on the other side of the staircase. They replaced our old boring light pole with a stunning brick column topped with a lovely lantern. In addition, they continued the landscaping down the opposite side of our house utilizing a mulch bed with an excellent placement of plants and flowers. They also added a charming paver patio under a recently installed egress window as well. The landscaping project also included the installation of lighting beneath the stairs and throughout the rock and mulch beds to make the entire front of the house light up at night. It is stunning and I just love it every time I step outside of my front door or pull in my driveway. We couldn't be any happier with the project that was completed and we would absolutely recommend Tussey Landscaping for anyone looking for that extra touch of class! Tussey did a great job on our backyard extravaganza. Ben is very talented and can transform your yard to a wonderland. They worked with us to give us what we envisioned. We have been wanting to expand the area under our porch into a more useable area for the family for a while. From beginning to end, our whole experience with Tussey Landscaping was amazing. Derek designed an awesome layout for our patio/fire pit. He had a completely different idea in mind than we did and we couldn't be happier with his design. Our foreman, Reynold, and his team were super friendly and hard-working. They were able to finish one full day ahead of schedule. Our yard was very tore up (as expected) but they were able to fix it to a point that you would never know anything happened. Since the project happened later in the year, they also promised to make sure the grass was growing as expected next year. The whole experience with Tussey Landscaping was top-notch and very professional. We are super happy with the finished result and definitely recommend them for any landscaping needs!
