Pennsylvania American Water

This is been happening for well over a year now and I've decided to finally vent. My water here in campbelltown PA has such high levels of chlorine you can smell it when you're open up the tap, our water isn't drinkable right from the tap. This has been going on now for well over a year. I can see chlorine levels peaking at certain times of the year. But this is constant all year long.

Scheduled an appointment for install of new meter as required by the co. Waited all day, no show. Finally called after stated arrival time, held for 25 minutes only to get disconnected after finding out nothing from rep! Just pathetic!!

Absolutely the worst water company to work with. They messed up my address. Was supposed to send someone out. However, didnt send someone out until three days later.

American Water is always right at the legal limit of nitrate if not a little bit over all of the time ... I hope no one has newborn babies at home. Everyone needs to truly think about this they're consistently giving us the absolute legal they can of nitrate .. on top of all that they're using chloramine instead of chlorine to treat or water which is essentially more Wastewater. At this point it truly feels like they're trying to kill us or at least shorten our life spans.
