This company was responsible for scheduling warranty service for my hot water heater. They scheduled a local tech to come to my place a week after I reported my hot water heater being out. That tech (a contractor) failed to contact me or show for the appointment. Preferred sales then told me they would need permission to get a technician from further away to come to just check my hot water heater, but it would most likely be several more weeks. I offered to check and inspect the heater myself in order to inform the technician what the issue was to speed up repairs, but was informed that doing so would void the warranty on my less than 1 year old heater. Since they couldn't get me reasonable service I inspected my heater and found it was leaking at the seals on the top of the unit. I didn't care that I voided my warranty because their warranty held no value. I ended up replacing the hot water heater at my own expense, and the company refused to reimburse me any costs. The warranty that this company provided me was worthless. Not only did they not have enough techs in the area to provide me with reasonable and timely service, but I couldn't even help myself without voiding the pointless warranty. The communication with the company WAS good via email and phone, however the phone service personnel were helpless as they were unable to help. Service: Plumbing services
