    Had to cancel stay they had no hot water for a few days no notice on the site or on the doors I always ask every place how the hot water is on purpose Luckily I did and it didnt cost me a my money Noteworthy details: It right off the hwy in prime location It has been bought and sold Multiple times Use to be very nice

    Generally, when people share poor reviews of accommodations, I take them with a grain of salt since even the most basic of accommodations are generally fine with me. However, the reviews of this Red Roof Inn do not lie. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. There was no hot water (I was told I could only get a discount if I stayed an extra night because my room was already paid for...???), the doors to the outside were not locked (even past midnight), front desk staff was very odd, and I was put directly next to a room with a very loud tenant (I believe they lived there). When I requested to change my room, the front desk attendant muttered something about how he knew this was going to be a problem, and could only offer me a room all the way upstairs or ONE room down. I changed rooms, put my headphones in, and was able to get some sleep, but I've never left a motel so quickly as I left in the morning. There wasn't even coffee or hot water to make my own tea. Bedding was clean and bed was fine, but the hallways did have an incredible odor and the entire property is in need of serious maintenance. Red Roof Inns are always my chain of choice when traveling since I travel with my dog, and the beds are always comfortable. But this property is truly awful. I know the owner has responded to negative reviews acknowledging feedback, but instead of responding and not taking action, I'd suggest spending less time responding and more time taking action.

    Called from I-80, deskperson couldn't even tell us what exit to take. One bed looked like it had been sat on, had bedspread but no comforter. No towels. Whole place generally rundown and needs multiple patching. No lock on the outside door. They graciously and promptly refunded our money. Never again for a Red Roof, in our experience they are all lower than "budget".
