Sophie's BBQ

We had takeout yesterday. The good? Collard greens were made with shredded brisket and spices. The not so good, cornbread was dry and heavy. Didnt get a lot of flavor. We had the salmon and brisket bbq sandwiches. The pictures show it on a potato like white bread but it was on a brioche type roll. Too doughy for proteins. Also hardly any BBQ sauce. Pretty meh.

Think of the best bbq you have ever hadwhatever place you are thinking of, Sophies BBQ beats that by a mile and then some. Ive traveled all over the world and thought I tasted good bbq before. Sophies BBQ brings a unique flavor that easily beats Texas, Kansas City, and Carolina BBQ. I can honestly say that whatever food you order from the menu will taste so good that you dont need to add sauce to make it better. The sauces you are provided complement the already delicious food. From the sides to the main platter, I will guarantee that you will enjoy every bite that explodes your tastebuds. Go there hungry so you can have space in your stomach. The portions are massive but they dont cheapen the food. If anything, one bite makes it obvious that every part of the dish you are being served is made with love and pride. The staff are so welcoming and the new renovation has made it even more family friendly without overwhelming your senses. The cocktails are so well made that you could easily drink the entirety of your drink in mere minutes. Smooth is an understatement. The unique twists and variations on drinks and food will definitely leave you hungry for more even when your stomach is full because of how savory everything is. 10/10 would eat here again and again without question
