La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Harrisburg Airport Hershey

The Wifi did not work and was not secure. The sheets did not feel clean and smelled like body odor. The carpet was dirty and needed to be replaced. The room smelled like a locker room. However, the shower worked well, clean and had a toiletry dispenser filled with Dove products. The towels were clean and fluffy. The breakfast was good. The hallways and front desk areas looked and smelled clean. But, the room we stayed in needed to be deep cleaned, sanitized and better maintained. The laundry detergent they use should have a deodorizer in it to make the sheets feel and smell clean.

Other than location and the front office receptionist being kind, I have zero positives to say about this hotel. Im a loyalty member and my experience has made me question if I can ever reserve a room at a La Quinta again. I shouldve read the reviews before booking. I agree with the pattern of reviews listed here. We also had mice running across the floor in the breakfast buffet area who clearly werent intimidated by the people eating. No hot water, our toilet wouldnt flush and then when we told the staff, we were given a plunger to fix it. The plunger didnt help and we had an issue with a fire hose spray of water flooding the floor of the bathroom and outside in the entry way that we then used all of our towels to try and soak up the water. We were not given replacements, so we had to retrieve towels ourselves from the open staff laundry room. The whole place was saturated with marijuana smells throughout. Im fine with recreational pot use, but not to the extent at which my children cant talk or breathe without complaining they couldnt breathe because of the smell. The air unit was loud and didnt cool our room down despite adjusting the thermostat. It was just overall a very very bad and frustrating experience for my whole family.
