On New Years Day 1/1/24 at around 11pm, my Circuit Breaker Box caught fire and burned 4 of the Breakers as one of them failed due to age. I was able to pull those off the box and reset the power for limited use. I didnt have an electrician who I did business with in the past, so I called about 4 companies to set up an appointment and collect estimates. Out of the 4, one was able to come by but not until a week later due to being busy which was too long to wait for me. The others never called back, or if they did, they had a backlog. A friend of mine referred me to RL Snyder Electric, so I called and was told to ask for Fred. When I called, I spoke to his receptionist who stated he was in a meeting but he will call me back later today or next week since it was Friday afternoon. Within a half hour Fred called me and I told him about the issue. He wanted me to send him photos, which I did and once he got them, he text me back and said it was very dangerous and I should leave my home until they can get there. He was booked over the weekend but did arrive on Monday at noon since they worked with me as I had to take my wife to an important doctors appointment. Frank was the electrician who arrived at noon and did a full replacement of the Circuit Breaker box which took him until nearly 7pm. It all works fine and really appreciated their expert service, along with the urgency they felt I needed for the box being so dangerous. Fred called me back 4 days later 1/11/24 to make sure all is working well and if I had any issues, which I didnt and thanked him for his follow up call. I was quoted a price but was told today it was much lower than first thought which was another relief for me as it was appreciated. I know who I will call for any issues or upgrades I will need for my home and business location. Thanks for all your work and for being a great company to do business with. Below are 4 pictures.
