Inspired Learning Academy

Wonderful!  I have been teaching in the field of early childhood for 10+ years and also am the mother of two children (ages 2 and 3.5).  When I discovered ILA it was like finding a hidden gem.  The school has a family like atmosphere that made me comfortable and at ease immediately.  I know my children are well cared for each day by their classroom teachers and the entire staff.  As an educator in this center, I appreciate the freedom to design and implement lessons of interest to the children in my classroom.  I am able to work individually with the kids to achieve personal goals because the class sizes are smaller.  It feels great to form relationships with all my students and their families that are personal and meaningful!

Our son was enrolled here for about 8 months, starting at 3 months. The place was brand new, and we were excited to get our foot in the door as the price was quite low. Although our son's main teacher was fantastic, the place seemed to go downhill quick. The director has limited experience in childcare, and it shows. She has a lack of professionalism, and any thoughts or concerns we ever had were met with attitude and resistance. After several red flags, formal complaints filed, and the daycare breaching their own contract, our son is onto a much more experienced daycare, that will truly care about him... So, a month after my son left this day care, i felt as i had to give an update.. Our complaint with the state had been filed and followed up on. April, the director, blatently lied to the investigators as there is no solid "proof". She had made a point to have her communication with us through the child care app used. Upon our departure from the facility, she immediately deleted our account in the app and all communication records were lost with it.. If only all the time and effort put into ridding us and silencing us was put to our son, there never would have been any issue.. I would advise any parent with their child here to save or screenshot any communication with April, as she is dishonest, deceitful, and vengeful.. To look back and know she was alone with my son at times is terrifying, and a horrible feeling i have to live with. I wish i could scream this louder for all other parents..

The owner is very unprofessional. She is not willing to work with children who have learning curves or behavioral issues. She will kick them out immediately without a notice. As a previous teacher at the school who had their child enrolled, I can share that my son received a good education but his teacher isnt there anymore. She cant keep staff because she doesnt treat or talk to her employees kindly. She goes out of her way to make things difficult for previous families to get their child care tax information as well. She has no experience in childcare and shes not willing to listen to people who do. Multiple people have pointed out DHS regulations shes violating and she get mad. Avoid enrolling your child. Its not worth it.

Although the cost of care is low, you get what you pay for. Our son was enrolled for about 8 months and we did love his main teacher, but the director has very little experience in childcare. Any concerns or questions are met with resistance and negativity. Often simply told they had other kids to care for etc. and they couldn't address our specific concerns (Our son was usually in a class of 4 or less, and sometimes even alone). We learned of some childcare regulations not being followed and filed a formal complaint. After that, we lost most of any communication we had. Our daycare teacher even snook out the back door and around bushes to talk to us, in fear of the director who told her not to..
