At the risk of repeating all the other 1 star reviews, this place went from being one of the best banks in Pennsylvania to one of the worst banks I have ever dealt with. Don't know if all of their good staff passed away or quit during the pandemic but their customer service took a serious turn for the worse. Want managers to never respond when they say they will? Psecu is for you. Eant them to hold your account and your money hostage because of their negligence and incompetence? Psecu is for you. Want a bank to deflect and gaslight you due to their own incompetence and ineptitude? Psecu is for you. At this point they should be Federally invesgigated and shut down.

I went in looking to withdraw 100$ in small bills for an upcoming trip, and they literally can't dispense cash. I was asked "Who else do you bank with?" They have no issue accepting cash, but somehow handing it out is a process that involves: 1. Giving them my ID/Social/Acct# 2. Having them write me a Cashiers Check 3. Walking a block to Wells Fargo 4. Giving them the check as well as two forms of ID and my social security number and occupation. Why would I give my money to an institution that can't give me money back? Imagine going to Wendy's and giving them money, then they told you to drive down the block to Burger King to get your order. That is the experience PSECU provides.

I would highly suggest you getting a better Credit Union like Belco. PSECU wont even give you cash from the bank. They make you go through hoops and hurdles to have access to your own money. They have the very limited hours(even before the pandemic) and awful customer service as their employees always give contradicting information. Dont even get me started on PSECUs partnership with Wells Fargo who also makes everything more difficult than it needs to be. As soon as I get my new card (which takes them 5-10 business days to send out, mind you Belco can print you a new card ON THE SPOT) I will be taking everything out of my accounts! This review is for potential customers and not PSECU because theres nothing they can do to fix their problems unless they change their outdated policies and procedures.
