Extremely rude front desk lady (Tammy), Ive been in multiple times the last time was just to make a deposit last week and she makes you feel like youre wasting her time and has an extremely bad attitude for being the face of the bank. However, I had very pleasant encounters when booking appointments with staff in the offices. I will be using the drive thru from now on and doing in person deposits elsewhere.

I have been an account holder for 2 years. I had zero negative experiences. The service is always professional and thorough. Of course banking transactions can be at times more time-consuming than others. I read a few negative comments from various "Karens" and I smile... Get a life, be patients and be grateful for every day ..

I have banked here for 5 years and never had anything negative to say about the people who work here. Yes the checking interest is a non incentive to stay, but they're all the same there. Example I carried $54,000 in my superduper enhanced checking account and earned 34 cents interest a month which really irked me, but not a single time was anyone rude or was I treated with anything less than respect. I plan to move to a high interest online account like Capital One, etc. since the days of having to walk into a bank are pretty slim fir me. I assume gripes are the usual incentive to leave reviews so I'm taking a different approach. There are good people at this bank and it's operations are pretty much like any bank. Customers can be impatient, rude, overly sensitive and obnoxious. That is probably more common than the reviews here reflect.

I've probably been to this bank only a dozen or so times because I do most of my financial dealings online. For a while, I haven't really had to stop by the branch because I don't normally have physical checks to cash. However, I recently had the need to cash about 5-6 checks I had received for various reasons. The first time, I went inside because there was only like 2 cars in the parking lot. No problem, the service was quick, the teller was mildly pleasant. However, the next two times, I was sort of in a hurry and decided to go through the drive way. It's just a check deposit. Dump it in the canister and slide it through the tube, easy peazy. Unfortunately, it turned into 20+ minutes of waiting, and waiting, and waiting on the person in front of me to be finished. What on earth are you doing in a drive through that takes this long??? This was last Saturday. I had to go again this morning and the exact same thing happened! I'm a working adult with 4 kids, I don't have time to fool around in a drive through for that long. 20+ minutes is an eternity when it comes to drive through service. Is it a staffing issue? A training issue? Did the customers mess up by not going inside for some complicated issue? Either hire enough people or train them to tell people to come inside for long transactions. I'm now looking to change banks & pull all of my money out of M&T. After they closed the branch and the standalone ATM on Eisenhower, the Dart Dr location is all that's left in my area, so there's not much incentive to stick with M&T at this point, is there?
