        Deciding to start therapy was a very emotional decision for me. When I called CCA, I got a live person, not a recording, and someone who listened with compassion and asked relevant and intelligent questions that helped to find the right therapist for me. I have been working with Erica for a year now, and she has helped me make progress with the initial issue that brought me to counseling - hoarding disorder- as well as the underlying issues (childhood trauma) that caused the hoarding disorder. I love that my spiritual life is part of my healing process, and that Erica challenges me to examine my feelings and thoughts without ever pushing me to a place that feels unsafe. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Christian Counseling Associates, and I have recommended them to any of my friends who were considering counseling. They are wonderful!
