I DID NOT use this business. The following review is in no way reflective of the quality of service that one would receive from contacting this company.
My family lives around the corner from this place. About 6 months ago, a Hophan truck began parking on our residential street. The worker will come in his personal vehicle, move the work truck out, and put his personal vehicle in it's place. Vice versa, when he arrives back with the work truck. This, in essence, guarantees this person a 24 hour spot for work property and personal property, on a small residential street. This person is not a resident of the street they are parking on. There have been times where multiple Hophan trucks are parked here, and also times where workers come and simply take tools from the truck and continue on their way.
Having talked to our neighbors, we've come to a majority decision where it's affecting either elderly residents being able to find parking on their own street, or mothers with children and groceries having to travel two blocks with their goods, simply because there is a Hophan work truck constantly parked on our small street and taking up multiple spaces.
Today, I called Hophan. I left a message letting them know of the situation, and how it was being perceived as unfair by the residents to have to sacrifice their parking spots so Hophan could treat the street as their own personal work yard.
The message I received back from them was full of expletives that essentially said the owner lives close by and he'll park wherever he wants. If the residents are unhappy, they can call the police. It's a free country.
This is all true. As far as I know, no laws are being broken, and Hophan can legally park there.
To me, this response to a simple inquiry just goes to show that Hophan does not care about their neighborhood or their potential clients. Based just on this experience, I will never recommend Hophan, and will openly share this story with anyone who asks about reputable plumbers in the Glenside/Cheltenham/Abington area.
UPDATE 3/2023: This company still sucks. Just a bunch of tools.

I have absolutely nothing but confidence in the work that Ryan does. Hes also super flexible and will always help out with any extra things that he can get to.
I originally called him over to check water in the basement because I thought Id have to get a French drain which would cost like $20,000. He suggested to put new gutters up and it totally fix the problem. He couldve made $20,000 off of me but instead he was just honest and told us how to fix the problem. I really respect that..
On another call, we had them come over to install some drains Fossetts, a dishwasher and a sink and some garbage disposals. He said he could do everything when the parts come in at different times, but it would cost more money so instead he waited a few weeks and he did all the work in one day and probably saved us for five grand.again really respect and appreciate the company .
Most recently we had him replace our entire boiler system. It was a massive job and he got it done in one day had to reschedule things tons of times because we had to go out of town and we had to wait for parts to come in and again did everything they cost and time effective manner.
