Went to have a root canal done, they couldnt do it and havent given my refund yet. Also the receptionists are racist or just miserable. Staff are very impatient with black people. Everyone else sucks and should go pick strawberries on a plantation where they dont have to talk to the people who eat them. The clinical staff give about 68 % accurate info as to what going on and should be sued for refusing to provide antibiotics.

All of these offices are terrible, first of all they are beyond unprofessional, second off they lie and say they call you when that never happened say you cussed them out and blacklist you from their offices because they never fully booked your appointment on their end, but sure, lets blame the patient

I went for routine cleaning and evaluation. First, I had to wait almost an hour to be seen. The dentist did not introduce himself, only took me to do a panoramic x-ray. I had to wait a long time for the hygienist do the cleaning. After she was finished, she said that they needed to take a tooth x-ray. Nobody said why. I left. Approx. 2 weeks after they called me saying that I needed to make an appointment, that the procedure was approved by the insurance. I was puzzled, what procedure they were talking about. I went to the insurance website, and I found that the clinic has asked for a preauthorization for a crown. What??? A crown??? But why. I decided to get a second opinion. This other very reputable dentist told me that my teeth were perfectly healthy, no need for any procedure; that to need a crown I would've have to have a huge cavity. And foremost, that such a procedure could jeopardize the structure of the tooth. Anyhow, that I have very healthy teeth. So, what is this? A scam? They wanted me to get a procedure that I didn't need, and on top even it could damage my tooth and general health. I called them, saying that maybe they had mistaken, mixed up patients. They said that certainly not. So, I am on the verge to file a complaint with the dental board. Bad, bad, bad.

I'm not sure what happened in the Glenshaw office, but I'm disappointed. I've been going here for about 2 years and absolutely love the doctor, but the new staff up front this past month have been incredibly rude to the point I'm forced to find a new dental office. I called the office twice with an insurance representative on the line to work out an issue with a prior authorization, and both employees refused help from the representative. Even told the representative "you aren't a clinician, so you don't know what you're talking about" when she tried to explain that a service was covered for me without a doubt, they just needed to submit the proper code. The insurance representative even offered to transfer her to the department that would help her get the proper coding, and the employee said "if I had to resubmit prior authorizations every time one was denied, that's all I would be doing all day every day" and told the representative that she would not resubmit it with the proper coding. She also fought with the representative, saying that the right code was entered and that the representative wasn't looking at my account. I'm so sad that I can't go here anymore because of the new employees, I love the doctor, but the new staff upfront are unbearable.
