uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair

about a month and a half ago I was given a quote to fix my iPad and was advised they can do it and it would a few days. unfortunately, I did not have the money at the time. Fast forward to today. I called and they said bring it on it and they can fix it. I get in my car and drive 30 minutes to the store. I walk in to chaos in the lobby, The long hair hippy looking guy behind the counter is arguing with everyone. He yells, literally yells for the guy in the back to come help him. He must have been new because he has to idea what he was doing. I told him I was there a month ago and got a quote to replace a charge port on my iPad. He takes it in back to work on it and 3 minutes later he comes out asking the hippy looking guy how much for a charge port replacement on an iPad. The hippy guy started to tell me they wont be able to do the charge port replacement because they are afraid to break something else. If they break something while trying to repair I was advised I will have to pay for it. They break it I buy it? Who in their right mind charges customers for something the repair person breaks. He told me to just go buy a new one. Guess they don't want my business because they are being lazy. oddly enough I needed to get the screen on my phone repair. I will be taking my business elsewhere they don't want to be bothered doing their job. It was clear the 2 guys behind the counter did not want to do any work today. Hope you go out of business!

Zac did a fantastic job replacing the screen on my Google Pixel Fold! Since it is such a new and complex phone I wasn't sure if the screen could be fixed but Zac had it completed very quickly and looking brand new to boot! Overall I had a great experience and would recommend. Have had several phones repaired here over the years as well as a laptop and it is always top notch service! Keep on keeping on!

I am very happy with me service. I was extremely surprised that the Tech didn't "beat around the bush" about being able to fix my device. I may have thought that it was a minor charging issue, but they found something deeper than that and flat out told me that the issue could NOT be repaired and then they told me that they will replace my device since they couldn't fix the issue. I truly appreciate the honesty and them explaining why they would replace and not repair. That is something that I have come to associate with insurance claims and repair companies, to get the device back and then have to send it out 3 months later for the same problem.
