Traditions of America at Richland Active Adult Community

This is such a beautiful community. The perfect size neighborhood. Great vibe. The view from the clubhouse makes you feel like you are on holiday. You can be as busy as you like with different group activities and welcomed.

They clear cut a ton of woods that was supposed to be green space and parks. Now it's patio homes, postage stamp lots, and and HOA.

My mother bought a home here and she has dealt with innumerable problems since she signed her contract with TOA. TOA dropped the ball with the poor and haphazard construction of her house and their lack of responsiveness/attention to structural issues and necessary repairs. For example, she had frozen pipes this winter because no insulation was installed to surround the pipes, the loft vent was drywalled over when the house was built, they continue to refuse to install an inline inducer fan for the dryer, they refuse to correctly grade the lawn and to put topsoil down to complete the lawn (which has resulted in large puddles of standing water that make it impossible to enjoy time in the yard), and a live wire was left hanging in the closet in the loft - and the list actually continues. These issues passed TOA inspection directly after the house was built, but when she hired her own inspector, they found a plethora of structural issues. Her retirement years were supposed to be the happiest of her life, but she's dealt with continual issues with TOA since she moved in. If I could do more to help besides write this review, I would. She and all of her friends at this community who also struggle with TOA deserve better.
