Wonderful bar atmosphere. Terry and Lisa are great bartenders! I would recommend this bar place for the bar alone. Location is perfect and the rooms at great.

My family of five just stayed at The Gettysburg Hotel and felt at home! We will stay again. The front desk staff answered all questions and were very knowledgeable. The room was clean and was such a comfortable balance of modern blended with history. I loved reading the framed letter written in 1811. We had a delicious breakfast at their restaurant. We explored the ball room and my kids loved seeing the vault! The ballroom was an old bank and the ceiling is quite extraordinary. Our family will stay here again when we return to Gettysburg!

We forgot our 6-year old's Super Mario Bros suit in the hotel room when checking out and house-keeping staff stole it. We called and went back that same day to try to get it back and were told staff didn't have keys or access to the lost and found, and to check back tomorrow morning with the housekeeping staff. The next morning, the hotel staff said all they found was a white shirt and there was nothing that could be done because "they didn't find anything else." Who steals from a 6-year old! Also there was no fridge or microwave in the room either. Stay at 1863 Inn of Gettysburg instead, only a short walking distance from the center and much better service and free breakfast as well.
Rooms: No fridge or microwave. Clean.

Beautiful place very clean I been here a few times and always treated well only complaint was the bar closed to early parking sucks there charges to much for you to stay there
