The owner post his personal business about failed relationships on social media. Would you want someone who does this to work on your property?

I gave the owner $75 to hold my spot for a $150 gutter job on July 19, 2021. After cancelling on me at least a half a dozen times, and experiencing a major roof leak that led me to pursue a full roof job and whole house gutter replacement, I notified him in August 28, 2021 that I no longer required his services. I asked for my $75 and he refused to send it back to me. Eventually he told me he could send me a check but it would take a few weeks. I said ok. He then shifted and said I could apply the money to a future job, I said no, to send the check. I contacted him again on September 9th to check the status of my refund. No response. I contacted him again September 11, 2021, no response. After 45 days of receipt of deposit, a customer is entitled to a refund in the state of PA, otherwise the actions constitute fraud. At this point, his actions fulfill that definition. Sad to see he treats his employees poorly too, having them work and then not pay them. I will be reporting the business on Monday according to Pennsylvanias Home Improvememt Consumer Protection Act. STAY FAR AWAY
