        One of the worst schools Ive ever been to. Please dont send your kids here. Please. I left halfway through and suddenly started to enjoy high school when I went public. If you care about your kid this isnt the place for them. They have a very strong demerit system but.. what about a merit system? So we focus on bad and only punish people but dont reward people for good? Wow. Such a backwards place and really did feel like hell to me.

        My time at this school was nothing short of hellish. From teachers not knowing how to teach in the 21st century, to the constant outpouring of hateful rhetoric from other teachers, going into class everyday was something we all dreaded. There is almost no diversity, and absolutely no room for a student to be an individual. If you are looking to enjoy your high school experience, shanahan is not for you. The only reason that shanahan doesn't deserve 0 stars is the fine arts and sports programs, which overall aren't bad.
