The Kennedy Project is a youth mentoring, empowering, and parent accountability program for young adults ages 12-20 and cover areas of Delaware County and Philadelphia. The program was started as a result of the personal experiencce of the founder, Sharman Pitts, whose daughter Kennedy was struggling during her adolescent years. This self funded program is at no cost to the participants and provides crucial guidance to young adults facing various challenges in their lives, empowering them to make positive decisions and acheive important milestones necessary for thei future success.  The Kennedy Project focuses on a comprehensive range of areas crucial for growth and development of young individuals, this includesbut not limited to, obtaning essential documents such as working papers, permits, drivers licensing, imparting financial literacy, facilitating furthereducation opportunities, promnoting community service involvement, emphasizing life skills and addressing  adversity with resilience. The program opersates on a referral basis, allowing schools, community members, courts, families, and parents to recommend participants.
