Since this review is not being written by the customer there are some things that need clarification. Our first visit to the home was in January for repair of a leak behind the pedestal sink, (which required removing the sink and cutting open drywall behind the sink), a new toilet, and repair to a tub. I suggested to your mother that the drywall be repaired & painted before having the sink reinstalled. She told me she had a handyman that would do that work and that he would even install the sink. No estimate was ever given for any of the work. I am unclear of the relevance of the 2nd floor bathroom being less than10 feet from the bedroom as our service van with the tools and material necessary to do the work was parked in the driveway outside. As for no plumbing involved, in order to install a functional sink it must be connected to the water & drain lines. The water had to be shut off to install valves for the sink prior to installing the sink. My business phone is a landline that doesn't receive texts so I am unsure who the texts were to. I received two phone messages from your mother one expressing her surprise at the amount of the bill, (which was not $600.00 but slightly more then $400), and a second apologizing for the first and telling me she would call me when she returned. My men were also asked to look at another job concerning her well pump which she stated she had an appointment for with another contractor, to get their opinion. To sum up there was no fraudulent billing, the proximity of the sink to the bedroom has no bearing on how long it takes to install, and the bill was approximately 1/3 less than the amount you stated in your review. Reviews should be factual and by the individual who requested the work.
