Extended Stay America Select Suites - Pittsburgh - Cranberry

I was planning to stay a few months in this place. I didn't like it because when I arrived the room was completely dirty, the bathroom had a clogged sink, the kitchen was quite dirty and the dishwasher showed that it hadn't been cleaned in months and it even had fungus when I complained. Because of the incredible dirt that the manager had, who by the way is very rude and uses very inappropriate words, she throws me out for complaining about the dirt, I don't recognize this place at all..

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Pick a different location. I stayed here for an extended period of time due to moving to the area and needing to find a home. The front desk is never manned and you almost always have to use the courtesy phone to have someone come up for you. The hotel constantly reeks of weed and people prop doors open and stand by them to smoke so the stairwell constantly smells of cigarette smoke. The walls and floors are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors all the time. They promise house keeping every 2 weeks, which never happened. The finishes in the rooms are nice and more updated than their other locations but not worth is. My biggest complaint with them and recommend that you be careful with is PREPAYMENT. DO NOT PREPAY!!!! If you prepay and have to check out early or even change locations for that matter they will not refund you your money, and their corporate office will do nothing to assist you either. I prepaid for 2 months and ended up switching to another Extended Stay location due to the distance to my work. I verified with the front desk before making the change, would I receive a refund and they informed me that I would, WHICH IS NOT THE CASE!!!! Their hotel is not worth $3k for 2 months, especially for what they give you, or I should say lack there of.

I stayed for several days, the first day I arrived, the room was totally dirty, the floor was super dirty, it had a very bad smell, the room had dusty furniture, and the dishwasher was full of fungus and rusted, apart from the dirt in the room, the manager place is too rude and doesn't care about the state of the hotel a horrible place to stay

The sheets and towels were left from the previous guest. All the surfaces-walls, floor, shower, kitchen are greasy and dirty. There was hair in the shower. Nothing in the bathroom was clean. Kitchen has grease on the walls. The washers and driers are filthy and covered in dirt and dog hair. This hotel is not for people with a weak stomach.

My room was newly remodeled. It had everything I needed for my long stay. Refrigerator, microwave, and you can request various small appliances too. My room was spacious.I could work from the room utilizing their desk. The staff were friendly and helpful.
