Zoup!

Been here several times over the past ~year and it's been a mixed bag in terms of food quality. Staff is always friendly and the bread is always delicious, but the soup itself is hit or miss. Most recently ordered pasta e fagioli and it was either the wrong soup or nothing like the description/picture. It was much more like a stew. I'm pretty convinced we were given a stew/chili and not what we ordered. We ended up throwing it away without eating more than a bite or two. Broccoli cheddar soup was good, but we went there specially for a soup with broth to help with a sore throat. I called the restaurant to confirm that we got the right soup. The worker was helpful in trying to confirm that we did indeed get their version of pasta e fagioli, but she said it didn't have pasta (?!?) and to not use the photos in the app as references for what the soup should look like? A bit confusing to me. She did offer to replace the soup if I came back, which felt like a nice olive branch if nothing else. However, we live ~30 min away so it wasn't worth driving back. I'd advise not ordering online/through the app and getting it in person if their claim is that the pictures, description, and ingredients may differ from what is listed online. This is especially important given the allergies and dietary restrictions in my family.

I hesitated writing this but poor customer service should not go unnoticed. I was there with my son on a Tuesday evening early March (need to check the exact date). We approached the counter friendly - not rude or anything . There was a woman making sandwiches and did not turn for a few minutes. She finally turned and seemed pissed that we were there - we asked for a sample she gave that and left frustrated to go back. When she came back we attempted to place our order she turned around again - then we asked her if we can place our order; she rudely pointed to the register and said you do not place it here, you place it at the register (no one was at the register). Then she turned her back. Since I dont want to be belittled while attempting to place an order we left and went to elevation burger. Will not be back.

Had a wonderful meal with the family. Employees were great. Free samples on the soup. Kids meals were excellent !! We had the bread bowl and soup and salad combo Kid-friendliness: Kids meals were filling and reasonable

We went our first time in zoup will be the last , unprofessional employees who laughed at us for misprouncing a word , totally uncalled for messy sandwich over priced for awful food dried up soups disgusting. They should be ashamed of them selves .
