Oftentimes counselors and therapists go underappreciated. The confidentiality of the services offered as well as the stigma attached prevent great counselors from being recognized. Word of mouth and reviews such as these can shine light on people like Paul who unconditionally listen and offer their honest, true feedback.
From Session 1, Paul has offered me hope, validation, and at times the realistic outlook to rope me back in. I can't say I've gone to him for any issues out of the ordinary, but no matter how big or trivial the problem or topic I had for Paul, we worked on it together. My life is significantly better having had him in it.
Finances were always handled with ease and never put before treatment. I can attest to Paul being a professional, caring, and competent therapist.

I used to be the kind of person who would ignore the distressing noises, smoke, and behaviors of a car, letting it get worse and worse until it would finally give up, usually at the worst time, by the side of the road.
It took a long time for me to become the kind of person who hears her car make some weird noises and decide to get it checked out before the little things get out of control and snowball into disaster.
Paul has been the kind of therapist who has helped me understand my inner "car" so that I can recognize issues before they arise, and choose what I want to do about it.
From the start Paul created a professional environment where I felt safe and able to talk without fear of judgment.
Some other important notes (to me, and I think are important when looking at professional services): Paul Janeski keeps his ongoing education and certifications updated, and participates in current industry events. (I used to own a business and this kind of thing stands out to me). I have found him to be knowledgeable, and he's shared a lot of book titles and resources with me that have helped me. If he isn't personally versed in a particular subject, he will say so, and provide a recommendation. Whenever I have contacted him, he has gotten back to me very promptly. Over the course of treatment, I have had to contact Paul a couple of times outside of a session and his responses were always prompt and friendly.
Paul is tech-savvy, which is beneficial not just in the practical sense (for privacy / HIPAA reasons, as well as his ability to conduct telehealth video appointments) but I don't have to explain what memes and apps are to him or the stress of social media, he gets it. I like being able to make modern references or talk about social media without having to explain it.
I think therapy is important, and I think it is important to make an informed decision and know what you can about the professional you choose to work with. Paul has been a really insightful and non-judgmental counselor who helps me recognize the changes I want to make in my life, and then decide if I am willing to make the choices and do the work necessary to get there. I have to do the work, Paul has helped me find the tools and I appreciate it.

Incredible counselor. Has helped me tremendously. Wonderful office, easy to schedule and adjust appointments and is almost always exactly on time without any wait. The waiting area is well appointed and comfortable.
Has truly helped me alter my mindset and improve my life. This review is the least I can do to say thank you.

Paul has honestly been a life saver , his Approach is something I never had before with a therapist. I see him once a week , and when I wasnt able to he even messaged me to check in. Mental health in this area isnt the greatest , but he is one of the few who actually care about their patients.

Simply the best for me. I will admit that I was forced to go in the beginning, however once I began my journey with Paul, I looked forward, with increasing anticipation, to my next visit, and my next, and again, my next. I could never more highly recommend anyone for that Journey than Paul Janeski. And Paul, thanks for being just the way you are. You watched over me through some dark days, never allowing me to lose my focus. Today, in the darkest of storms, I only see light shining. Thanks :)
