At first, we were really happy with the help and assistance we had received with Penway. We were in immediate need of a vehicle, and they were very accommodating with staying late and getting the paperwork signed. Unfortunately, after leaving the lot, everything went downhill. We found out from our mechanic that the entire underside of the Jeep is rusted. Aesthetically, it looked great and the interior was really nice. Its our fault for not getting it checked before buying it, but driving an hour and half to Penway, we were trusting that everything was in good condition. We asked about the details of the vehicle, and the rust was never mentioned. So far, we have put over $1,000 into repairing things wrong with the jeep. The gas tank leaks gas and because the jeep is so rusted on the bottom, we cant get it repaired. Its too hard to get to and with the number of items you would need to move to replace the tank, it would cause more damage with the rust. If you are going to purchase a vehicle from Penway, I would make sure you have a trustworthy mechanic look at it before you sign the paperwork. Its definitely a lesson learned that I dont want anyone else to have to learn as well.
