My name is Sanaa Redmond and I am currently a senior at The Shipley School. Shipley is welcoming and feels warm as soon as you come to the school. I transferred from a public school in Philadelphia but the transition was easy because of the resources and homely feel. I am a captain of the girls varsity basketball team and president of the black student union. On and off the court I am taught what it means to be a good communicator, leader, and what it means to be disciplined. The teachers are great because they are understanding of our schedules. The class sizes are ideal which make for a challenging, interacting and engaging space to learn. The teachers really do care about you. I have made friends with people who I will most likely still continue to be close with for the rest of my life. We are taught a lot about how important it is to be a person of good character. With all of this said, I have been shaped into a responsible young woman.

This school is a fun way to educate kids from Pre k to 12th grade. It's a clean welcoming environment for all. I am Cole Henry in the filth grade and that's why Shipley is a five star school.

Went there from 1st grade to 12th.
It is a very caring school, co-ed, good sports program (no football). The teachers are what make this school so great. Small class sizes, warm community.
I really felt prepared for college.
