I had the pleasure and relief of having MDL respond to my family in our time of need when my basement randomly flooded due to sewer back up in my home. Eric the chief of operations responded directly and came out within the hour to coordinate with the plumbers and insurance claims adjuster. As a new homeowner I was so anxious with our loss and nervous about dealing with insurance as Id heard horror stories of others regarding insurance claims and contractors. After plumbing stopped the back up, MDLs team was out immediately to remedy the mold. They were willing to do the work upfront and collect payment directly from the insurance company upon approval from the adjuster. MDLs team worked fast and tidy and respected my home to insure there was no further damage to my home, personal property or appliances. They raised my brand new washer and dryer to ensure all mold would be properly removed and remedied beneath the surface. They used the basement entrance of my home to not track any debris throughout the home. They removed all waste and trash related to the flood. They installed equipment into computers to insure the power usage of the equipment would not land on me as a homeowner.They basically took an awful situation and did all within their power to improve it. By the time MDL returned to my property to collect equipment there was no moisture or evidence of a continuous problem. Best of all I never saw a bill as they handled everything with the insurance. I would use MDL in the future for any needs regarding restoration. Ps I had to leave team members unattended in my home to take care of my child and my home was left in tact without any incident. I trust this professional team and you should too. Thank you MDL!!

A company you can depend on. We've had water damage at two different properties. MDL has come out and made sure the area is dried out and we're back to normal. They are thorough, quick, and dependable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mike, Mark and their team were great help to us with the remediation due to a toilet leak. They even dealt with the insurance company so we could resolve our claim quickly. I would use them again and highly recommend.

Did the job quickly! Edit 2 weeks later; yes they did the job quickly but with very little care. Items broken, drywall damaged, and moisture left from over 10 days ago. They charged 2000$ for only a few hours of work. I basically paid a premium to rent their dehumidifier and fans for a couple days.

TL;DR: the business will find any excuse to not stick to their 5-yr warranty. The owner threatens to sue customers if he doesn't like your google review. Update after business response (10/12/2023): there are a lot of inaccuracies in their response. But this is being dealt through an official complaint with Better Business Bureau that we filed weeks ago and to which the business has not responded yet. We did follow their recommendations to remediate the leak by removing our HVAC unit (back in February 2023) and there is a photo now that I'm attaching to this review. MDL is just making up information in their response. We followed everything they told us to do prior to them repairing to make dure their warranty would be in effect in the future. This is just one of the examples of how they are trying to gaslight us to not honor their warranty. I also don't know why the owner is commenting on us purchasing a new home or the house having multiple leaks (they "fixed" 2, that was all) as this is information they do not have access to. MDL never had the intention to help us or did any favor to us. The owner called me "horrible person" via text for trying to get a response from them, so please do not believe this sympathetic response. I removed my comment about the workers vaping because I don't want to get immigrant workers in trouble, as I am an immigrant myself and I know how it all goes. I repeatedly asked the owner to call me and try to solve this in a civil manner and he never did. Again, this is now being officially handled by the BBB to try the business to act professionally and not breach the contract we signed. Update (09/28/2023): the owner threatened me to sue me for this review. Original: They came to fix a water leak in February. They were absolutely unable to identify the origin of the leak, but they replaced the wet dry wall. A week ago, same water leak reappeared and we called them to come and fix again under their 5-year warranty. Now they say this is a new leak even though it is EXACTLY on the same spot. I spent a good half an hour on the phone, listening to Mike Litchauer gaslighting me to convince me that their warranty is not applicable in this case. They are now avoiding us and not returning any of our calls or emails. On top of this, during other work they did in January, their crew stained blankets and furniture (because they didn't properly covered them while working), they dropped tools and made a hole in our wall (so we had to call them again, take days off work and wait for them to repair it which they eventually did). Overall, a horrible experience that's causing us unnecessary stress.
