I was in a car accident in South Philly in 2021... sitting at a red light when a police cruiser ran the red light, swerved to avoid another car, and then smacked directly into me. I ended up in not-great-condition, lost my vehicle (obviously), and was left feeling horribly damaged. The worst part was that, about a month earlier, I decided to drop my auto insurance policy down to the legal minimum; a decision I made to save money since I had an older car and rarely drove it because I live in the city and work from home.
